Welcome to MEDICOREX. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MEDICOREX website, applications, and services ("Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our community standards.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Access to question banks requires a paid subscription. Plan durations and prices are shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions are non-recurring — they expire at the end of the purchased duration unless renewed. Payments are a one-time card charge processed by Stripe, our PCI-compliant payment provider; we do not auto-renew or store your card details.
4. Content licence
MEDICOREX's questions, explanations, images, and other content are protected by copyright and licensed to you for personal, non-commercial educational use during your active subscription. You may not:
- Copy, redistribute, sell, or sublicense any MEDICOREX content
- Share your account credentials
- Capture, transcribe, or republish questions in any form (including screenshots, recordings, AI-generated derivatives)
- Use the Service to develop a competing product
Violations may result in immediate termination without refund and legal action.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to disrupt the Service, probe its security, scrape its content automatically, or impersonate other users. Reverse-engineering or attempting to bypass access controls is prohibited.
6. Medical disclaimer
MEDICOREX is an educational tool. Content is provided for exam preparation and study purposes only. It is not medical advice and must not be used to diagnose or treat any condition. Always consult qualified clinicians for clinical decision-making.
7. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the Service offline for maintenance, upgrades, or in response to security incidents. Subscriptions are not extended for short outages.
8. Refunds
Our refund policy is documented separately at /legal/refunds. By purchasing a subscription you agree to that policy.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email and via an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MEDICOREX's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (lost profits, lost study time, exam outcomes, etc.).
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where MEDICOREX is registered. Disputes will be resolved by the competent courts there.
